The H2S high-concentration waste gas need to go through three alkali washes, during the wet removal process.
1. Water wash:
Mix the H2S highly-contained gas in the workshop and enter the acid bath removal trough for water wash, removing the Na2SO4, Na2CO3, H2SO4 and other foreign matters in the waste gas, thus to purify the air.
2. Alkali wash:
The pretreatment to H2S will be performed though 3 alkali tanks. The water-washed waste gas will be sent to the entrance above of the first alkali tank by fan, and the atomized lye from the upper sprinkler head then absorbs H2S, producing NaHS and Na2S. After the waste gas go es through the 2nd and 3rd alkali tanks, its concentration drops to about 150ppm, and is then sent to the washing tower to decrease the concentration of H2S. The 22% NaHS solution generated is delivered to the storage can and is drawn away regularly by chemical industry, to produce NaHS tablets.
